HI!! this is in response to ur question about what i think about the later books in the Anita Blake series (when i get started i can't seem to stop so this is gunna be more like an essay then anything lol sorry). . .I think the later books in the Anita series became a bit too soap opera-ish. And in a couple nothig seemed to happen, compared to most of the books where beyond the sex and politics there is actually a point to it all, like some big evil coming that had you in suspense and wanting to read the next book to know whats gunna happen. But there were huge novels where nothing really did aside from sex, sex ooh is that evil coming, no, oh ok, sex. but i still enjoyed them. even if it did become a bit of a smut fest lol (although sexfests worked perfectly for her in the merry Gentry series). I think she should have expanded on Micah and made it into a full size novel because that one was quite good. Obsidian Butterfly was one of my faves finding out personal details of the elusive Edward . . . . I am really interested in finding out how Anita's lycnthropy is going to turn out and i'm still going to buy the next book when its released . . who knows they might start to get some of there old flair back. I think public demand made her rush a couple of the books so the quality just wasn't as good as it could have been. Although the Harlequin was descent But she's been sitting on this next one for quite a while so it might be really good *crosses fingers* lol was that what you were asking? (this is just a short explaination of my views i hve heaps more but ths is getting way long lol)
