This is another addition to the 100 Themes Challenge, # 61 Fairy Tale. Originally, I had a much different idea for this picture ( Heather and Lucas a'la Beauty and the Beast), but somehow it ended up being this. In case you can't read it, the quote says, "And so the princess locked herself away, never to see her prince again." Once again, this never actually happens in the story, but considering Heather IS actually a princess, I figured it was a fun reference to a paticuliar part of the series. (Stirring your curoisty, aren't I?? ) I really like the colors, since Heather would never wear something like this it was a fun departure from the norm. The brightness seemed to make it even more fairy tale-ish. I also like the expression on her face, how it's both pleasure and pain at the same time. It's fun. Overall, I'm very pleased, so I hope you agree! Enjoy and comment!
